Recently Heather Thornton has been working on collages addressing identity and intimacy. In the works two figures often relate to one another, built out of magazine clippings. These works will be posted in May 2018.

Previously, Heather has devoted her art practice to exploring the relationship of spirituality to the human psyche. Inspired by astronomy, humanism and mortality, Heather painted figures who engage with otherworldly objects to represent divinity.
